Where do begin, had this running for a year, recently it has begun crashing, I cant find a reason. Simply restarting the service on the NAS fixes the issue for a few hrs, but this is frustrating.
Update to Plex Media Server v1.23.6.4881. It contains a fix for a database locking problem affecting earlier versions. The problem can cause a Plex Media Server crash.
After the next crash, restart the NAS, then download the server log files and attach to the thread. Drag the ZIP file into the message window. It will insert at the cursor location.
Someone familiar with Asustor will then be able to look at the log files and assist.
Plex stops working immediately after starting a scan on newly added media (a large amount of photos).
The Web front end from client PC indicates the server is unreachable. I have two Plex processes on the NAS, their status is “sleeping” after the crash.
