Latest server update causing total rescans? taking forever?

Apparently there is an explanation in your new thread basically saying disc was left out even though the word disc is still in the documentation on how to properly name multi part videos. It look like they will put disc back in at some point, don’t know how much work it would be for you to correct on your own or wait for the fix. I had a dozen movies to fix.

Wow, my family thinks I have a lot of series and episodes! 1,508 / 39,753 - Series / episodes

I side loaded the new Plex TV Agent and it was 80% accurate, before edits and corrections. But what finally had me remove the new Plex TV scanner was that by switching early, all the episodes and series watched weren’t carried over to the new filters. Bummer.

I am eagerly awaiting for the new TV scanner!!!

I want to be able to click on an actor and see ALL the items in my collections where they appear and/or are credited - not just TV or just Movies.

Well now I don’t know what to believe. Just ran another scan after adding a movie and it was super quick again. Maybe that second one was a random fluke. But so far after upgrading to 3943, I’ve run 3 full scans. The first and third were as fast as they were before 3939 but the second one was as slow as 3939.

Please keep an eye on it.
Let’s see if it was indeed a fluke / part of the recovery from .3939 or indicative of something else

I just tried the 1.21.2.3943 and it is also for me working fine now.
Tried a couple of scans and were quick and this time also did not restarted over and over.

Been working great ever since so just that one scan was a fluke I guess. I’ve done multiple scans since that added movies and tv episodes and they were all fast. Thanks!
