Latest update breaks Live TV using HDHomeRun FLEX 4K

Player Version#: any player (including PlexWEB)
Tuner Make/Model: HDHomeRun FLEX 4K

After the latest update of PLEX Media Server, I no longer can access live TV using my HDHomeRun FLEX 4K. I am still able to access the tuner content if accessed directly from the tuner, or using other apps (i.e. Channels).

This issue is isolated to PLEX. I get an error stating “Playback Error - Could not tune channel. Please check your tuner or antenna.”.

This happens for any channel that I attempt to watch.

Is anyone having similar issues and found a fix?

Ok. I found the issue. It’s not PLEX. I had to update my MacOS to the latest version. All is well now.

Thanks for posting! My HDHomeRun tuner was also not working after the last Plex Server update and I couldn’t figure out why! Never occurred to my that updating to macOS Sequoia 15.2 would solve it, but it worked!

I’m running plex server on linux and the Live TV with HDHomerun is not working either. I have all of the latest updates but still not working.

my problem was corrected by updating my dns settings. It was discovered that I was having DNS failure issues. Did a quick update to my dns server settings and it’s working good now.
