Latest update for qnap server

Server Version#: 1.32.5.7516

Guys, just updated to the above server version and my optimisations are now not working, I seem to have to optimise apple TV files to play, when I do it now it processes for 1 second and then on my samsung TV tells me the files are not available.

Done the usual, restarted the server, reinstalled the TV player.

Also tried to optimise to a different path.

Any ideas?

We just released 1.32.6.7521-24e4dff81 to Beta.

It contains fixes/rework beyond 1.32.5.

I would very much like to see Server DEBUG logs which capture (recreate) the problem you’re seeing.

Here are the 2 logs, oddly it the converted one plays fine on the older Samsung U32N5300 but shows the attached error on the QE55QN95 TV

Thanks for that but there’s a lot of info missing.

  1. Might you have the entire ZIP file these pieces came from? Those are what I’d like to see

  2. Which model QNAP is this?

  3. With the full logs I hope to be able to see the actual errors. The excerpts don’t show “file not found” or anything like that. (not yet confirmed but might be remnant of why the other builds were withdrawn)

Thanks for the logs.

The logs are showing me that PMS is (re) finding the media files again.
(“Looking for a path match” statements)

Did media get moved around recently?
If so, did you “Scan Files” and “Refresh Metadata” afterwards?

Nope just added the file and because these files don’t play I have to transcode them, so literally drop it into the folder, goto plex on the laptop and convert…

Unless those messages have something to do with the SSD caching ?

The key files to look at in the log are Invasion S2

They are the ones that won’t please unless they are transcoded.

I suggest/invite you to update to PlexPass 1.32.6.7521.

OK well I upgraded to the beta channel after you mentioned it.

I did wonder if it is actually the player app on my 55"Samsung since it does play on the 32" older model. I’ll give it a go tomorrow.
