With the latest updates on Android TV, movies from my server that I play seem to be stuttering quite a lot or I suddenly get the message that my server is not fast enough to play the video.
The same videos used to work before without any issues.
TV shows from my server that I play seems to work fine.
I don’t see these issues in Android for mobile or Plex for Windows.
If I try playing the movie on VLC for Android TV, the movie plays fine as well.
My TVs are Mi TV 4C Pro 32 inch and Mi TV 4X Pro 55 inch.
Update: I tried playing the same videos ok Kodi via the Plex add-on and the videos played fine in the Kodi player. There’s something definitely wrong with the Plex player updates recently that has caused this issue.
i have a philips android tv with the use of a denon receiver. Ik have also problems since update. Some file work and second file not work. Says it cannot use direct and than going to transcode. Trying different setting but looks like not work or i break more than it improves.
i had a movie spiderman i watched it wihtout problems Now i wil not start. See the ring and have to wait and not work.
Hi …i am experiancing the same problem with my new sony android TV, my computer and new LG TV. However it is working well on my cellphone and my old Samsung TV. Since the update , this happened. The picture is distorted
