Leading Zero bug in Opensubtitles.org Agent

Dear Plex & Agent Developers,

I Enjoy Plex very much. It is th best Media platform there is. Thank you for it! However, I found a bug in the OpenSubtitles.org Agent. I have explored the bug as much as possible so you need the minimum time to solve it.

If the GUID of a Series or Movie contains leading zeros, those zeros are not added and therefore the subtitles are not found.

A good example is Dexter.S07E01.720p.HDTV.x264-EVOLVE.mkv

If you try to download english subtitles via the Plex agent they won’t return:

2012-10-10 21:01:09,595 (1c6c) : INFO (logkit:16) - Looking for match for GUID b84ec46f79ce8f5 and size 1296245615

2012-10-10 21:01:13,338 (1c6c) : INFO (logkit:16) - No subtitles available for language eng

As you can see the GUID is 15 instead of 16 characters.

If I add a leading 0 to the GUID, and try to find it via the URL:

http://www.opensubtitles.org/en/search/sublanguageid-eng/moviebytesize-1296245615/moviehash-0b84ec46f79ce8f5/searcher/v1

They will be found.

I hope you can solve this issue with this information.

Kind regards!

Robin

Oh wow, thanks for the heads up, much appreciated!

This will be fixed (and existing broken hashes will be repaired automatically) in the next version. Thanks again for the great find

Great!

Thanks Elan for the response and fix-to-come.

Kind regards,

Robin
