LG Not seeing shared content -Solved

Hi!

I am trying to get Plex working on my GFs TV, which is an LG. I got the app installed no problem, and it can stream content without issue, but it can’t see my shared content as her FireTVs do. I looked and saw that it looks like her version is behind the current but there is no way to update it from the LG App Store.

Did you link the app to the correct account? Shared servers should appear, you don’t need the latest version.

I did and went and reverified it. I can play the default shows and whatnot that come with Plex, just not my server that I shared with her for some reason.

Can you PM me her Plex email address or username so I can check that your server is correctly being shared with her?

Figured it out! She actually had 2 separate accounts and the wrong one was logged in!
