The Plex app in the LG content store has not been updated since 2024. Please fix this.
The app was last updated in March (2026).
I believe the LG app is mostly a stub that’ll load the latest smart tv app from the internet. So that stub not being updated since 2024 shouldn’t worry you.
It’s not the “new Plex experience” definitely.
- 2024: 13 (!!) updates
- 2025: 7 months later, after the last update in november '24, 1 update
- 2026: 9 months later, 1 update
And those updates in 2025+2026 were not really big changes, although I much appreciate the AV1 support…
