Lg smart tv plex not able to fast foward or rewind

Server Version#:4.34.4
Player Version#:5.1.3 was 03.00.55 then updated automatically
my webos tv version is 5.1.0-3202
When playing movies I cannot fast forward or rewind of move with the remote/mouse to forward on the timeline bar.
It this because of something in my settings?

From the PLEX OSD (use the ok/Select button), play,pause and title duration appear. Use the Up key on your remote, a progress line( Timeline) will appear with a marker. Use left or right key or Magic Remote pointer to degress or progress the timeline of the said playing Title.

Thanks for your valuable info. I was about to ditch Plex since on our LG smart TV, it appeared that the Plex app did not have fast forward capability. Also could not jump forward by clicking the cursor on the progress bar. … But using the left and right arrow keys for fast fwd and rewind works great so I’m keeping Plex.

Also, the subtitles using Plex are much better than the subtitles using LG’s SmartShare to play the same foreign video.
