LG TV asking me to log into LG account to update Plex

There’s Plex update for my webOS LG TV, but the TV tells me I have to log onto some LG account to install the update. This has never happened before with other Plex updates, and it updates other apps without asking me to log in (HBO+, AppleTV+, Netflix, Prime). So, why can’t I just download and install Plex like before?
