All my apps are the most current. Running server no external HD on new MacMini,
M1, 2020, Monterey 12.2.1, Denon receiver, Xfi cable and internet, hardwired to computer with server.
Issue is watching movies on LG TV about three years old. Everything worked reasonably well but now it won’t see the server.
This started a week or so ago when Plex changed my username on the LG TV account. It remains the same on my server. My MacBook Pro works and sees the server. In my attempts to fix this, I am sure I have compromised the username on some of the devices trying to fix the issue. When I reinstalled the LG TV Plex it always goes to a new username contracted from my normal username and there is no way for me to change that. If I try “change user” it doesn’t work. I don’t know how to start fresh with a new user on the LG TV Plex settings.
In the past, I had issues with the LG TV not seeing the server, and restarting the Denon, the TV, and/or the MacMini was required. It is a mystery why nothing seems to work together with the LG TV.
I did try setting the LG TV Plex app several times. Plex does everything except connect to the server. My MacMini, MacBookPro, and other devices all can see the server and play files.
