It was a curly one and you may well get buy without spending. But a Wifi Router is relatively cheap. You don’t need another Wifi Modem Router
still, it amazes me why the Ipad can make the connection with the media server (Ipad is wireless “connected” to the Fritzbox

I just checked. the Ipad plays Plex connected to the Fritzbox and (disconnected to the Fritzbox) connected to the netgear router
