Hi,
Have the same problem. Not sure when it started first - About year all was good. After has some period not using plex. When previous week tried - was surprised lg app not able to connect to local server in the same network.
Tried specifying local ip in settings and disabling security connections. - Didn`t help.
Then I sign out and tried relink again - this helps for that session on previous week. Was able to use.
The next day - the same problem - tried relink again - and now it didnt help.
So currently have workaround by using chromecast from mobile application (by the way mobile and browser works fine). But it is not so comfortable to control from mobile.

Was looking on configuration to check ipv6 - and found that network configuration was having my old network ip addresses (sometime ago was adding wlans so plex and tv became in the sam enew lan, remote also was good.). And I was trying to override it before in LG webos app.
Updating to current config - now it is ok. So was my fault.
