Libraries disappeared from Plex after power outage

Server Version#:1.30.0.6486-7000
Player Version#: 4.97.3

Background info: Lost power at home and when it returned the NAS showed and error and said it had improperly shut down. After doing some digging, all the data on the NAS was intact BUT plex no longer showed libraries and didn’t give me the option to recreate them. To counteract this, I downloaded a PlexMediaServer to my desktop and was able to recreate the libraries. However, the system does seem slow and I can’t get remote access to stay on. Lastly, the ip address for the Plex has changed (not my doing). Please help me Obi-Wan Plexers… you’re my only hope.

It would be beneficial if you at least mentioned the brand of NAS you’re using.

I have to admit, my knowledge base is basic at best so if there is anything I’m not including that you believe I should please let me know.

The NAS is a synology DS220+.

Recent realizations: By downloading Plex Media Server to my Mac, I can view the movies and tv shows on my NAS via local devices on the same network (tv, comps, etc.) but only when my Mac is on. I still cannot access the NAS directly from Plex.

Does that mean the NAS has a completely new IP address?
Have you rebooted the router and devices on the network?

See if you can access the server on the NAS by using the IP address

Power outages can sometimes damage the Plex database.

You will probably want to get logs from the server on the Synology and post them here to see if that’s your problem

If you can get to the settings go to troubleshooting and download the logs

If you can’t, you’ll have to find them manually
