I have setup my files on the NAS and its friendly name is: My Cloud Home.
The NAS server is visible on Windows (10) as MYCLOUD-1FZT9D and has a Public folder, under which I have folders, My Music, My Photos & My Videos.
I have created 3 folders in the My Videos folder called: WCTH-Series 7, WCTH-Series 8 & WCTH-Series 9.
In Series 7 I have 7 mp4 videos.
When I go to windows web app it shows My Cloud Home at the top of the sidebar and if I scan the library it does not find any videos.

I have been trying to set this up for several days without success! Can someone point out why I can’t see the video’s in the library.
One thing I find confusing whether I am on the server window or the web app window? Could you not have a different window color for each view?
From what I remember, the WD MyCloud Home is quite restricted when it comes to creating libraries. Plex will only look at the automatically created when setting up the server (e.g. Plex > Shared Movies, Plex > Shared TV Shows…).
Based on what I could find in your logs, Plex has indeed only been scanning the Shared Movies and Shared Home Videos folders (based on their related libraries).
I think I got confused which folder I was placing the files. I was looking via windows network view! I should have used WD Discovery app, then it was obvious that I was putting the files in the folder.
Lesson learnt!
Still not quite right!
I have put more video files in the following folder: Z:\Plex\Shared Home Videos\Hallmark\Series 7
where I originally put 6 files and have added 4 more, but all I can see are the original 6 files. I have run the scan multiple times, but the others are not added. By the way drive Z is the My Cloud Home network drive.
Can anyone see where I am going wrong?
Not sure if this is regular video files or if those are named/organized as a tv-show. Plex movie / home video libraries will usually ignore files they recognize as tv-shows / episodes.
