My libraries don’t seem to access IMBD or Movie Database. When I try things like fix match very limited poster options are returned as well as limited information. I have also done search options, Unmatch, etc. Under search options there is a drop down that should have the different databases to choose from but now there is only Plex TV Series for example. Any ideas what is going on? Does this now have to be done manually?
From what I’ve been reading, you cannot change the agent when using the Plex TV Series agent for your library. You can however set for each series which order to pick (e.g. TVDb DVD order, TVDb Aired order, TMDb aired order…) – this should also have an impact on the metadata Plex is applying.
As for IDMb – TV libraries had never used IMDb as a source for tv-show metadata (at least not the official agents).
All that being said… I have a feeling your actual issue is more about the naming. If you’re using the example below, your show should populate just fine without manual tinkering:

Season 01
Spider-Man (1967) - s01e01 - The Power of Dr. Octopus.ext

Actually names come in fine. My issue is more about not getting as many choices for posters and things. For example, a friend is on the previous version of Plex and has the same Spider-man set, but when he goes to Edit and chooses the Poster menu, he has over 30 choices, where I get three.
His episode descriptions are different as well which leads me to believe he has access to the other database and I am only getting Plex database.
