I am having a weird issue I have moved to a new machine with a fresh install of PLEX. I have added my libraries and am having an issue with my TV library. It is matching different series as the same one. They are in a series folder, season folder, and are named correctly. I have tried to recreate the library with the same results. Ideas?
Does that apply to all series or just a select few?
If it’s all of your shows you should double-check if you’re pointing your library to the correct library folder and there’s indeed no additional layers of folders, the library isn’t pointing at individual shows etc.
If it’s for individual shows… have you verified there’s no conflicting embedded metadata that could cause those incorrect matches?
Thanks it was a folder layer thing effecting one library. I figured it our just after I posted. Isn’t that how it goes LOL. I had two separate libraries. The folder structure was root with two folders under it then the series folders, season, etc. I setup one library directly pointing to one of the sub-folders under the root, and the other library pointing at the root. It didn’t seem to like that second one. I changed it and added both the sub-folder paths and now all is well.
