I have 2 libraries that I have for my kids called “kids movies” and “kids tv.” The movie library consists of a single folder on my server, however the kids tv library is a compilation of specific TV shows that are kid friendly from my complete folder of TV shows.
When the library was saved and metadata was downloaded it was completely incorrect. It’s fine if you go to the TV Shows library, but Kids tv is all messed up.
Any insight to why would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

We need to clarify terms here: When you speak of “shows”, do you mean ‘episodes’ or complete ‘series’?
If it is the former: You cannot mix&match episodes from several series and expect Plex Server to figure it out which episode belongs to which series etc.
If you copy episodes, you must still adhere to the naming requirements for tv shows. All the folder structure for a tv series must be present, even if you only add one episode from the whole series.

Either post your server logs or make a screenshot of how your files are named currently and how the folders are named where they sit in.
