Installed on WD My Cloud Ex2 Ultra
Good Day, I have a lot of trouble with Plex since I got into it a few weeks ago.
My Issues:
- 3 Libraries seem to not work
First Library: For Audio books. I keep getting the “An unexpected error occurred while loading the library.” Beore that error page is loaded, I see my Album list just fine and if I am fast enough to click on one album before that error message appeares, I get to the album just fine so I dodnt get why the error occures.
Second Library: Same Error but for TV Series. This time I do not see the media library before the error appeares. It is just instantly. I deleted that Library and just created a new one which woks fine with the same files and same folder etc.
Third library: For Music this time. That as well got the “An unexpected error occurred while loading the library.” Error. Since I only loaded in 4 albumns and artists so far, I tried to delete that one as well, like the Library for the TV series. But his time plex said “Can not delete the Library” or something like that. So I cant delete the library and I were not able to make any changes to the library as well. Not even to the albums or tracks or artists or whatsoever. I did not change anything in the file folder that error just appeared randomly.
But since nothing worked, I tried to delete the file folder of the library itself and hoped that I could at least get rid of the dead library that way. That did not work either. So now I am stuck with 1 dead and one partially working library and no idea what I should do.
What I tried:
-Optimizing the database
-Re-reas the media library
-re organizing my folder structure and file names
-Empty recycle bins (for the totally dead library that did not work as well)
-Updating Plex
-Restarting the NAS
-Updating the NAS
-I had some similar issues before and I reinstalled plex and all the errors above came after the reinstallation so I guess reinstalling just works until it doesnt anymore…
-Create another User and try to load the library with that user
One more thing, on my phone the Audio book library works fine, I can see my albums and listen to everything just fine. The totally broken music library shows its albums but obviously, since there are no files anymore, I cant play them.
So far, nothing worked and since I always get the “Go to Forums” message… well here I am.
