Library missing from Plex Media Server on WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra

Server Version#:1.28.2.6151
Player Version#:

Hello,

I recently changed my password due to the possible breach. I tried to access my library the other day and noticed that my entire library is missing.

When I go to the home page of the media server using ip address:32400 which is on my WD My Cloud EX2 Utlra then to “your media” it displays no library except for a message “Add your media to Plex” and with a link to download the media server.

I uninstalled the media server and reinstalled the latest version but still no library.

What am I suppose to do now. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Oh no, how odd.

I have no idea how to get them talking again. My video files are on my NAS drive, but Plex just says I don’t have any media. Like you it tells me to download the PMS, which I already have.

I also uninstalled it from my NAS and reinstalled, but no joy.

I’m wondering about starting again from scratch, but not sure if I will muck it up even further.

Please update this thread if you solve the problem

No, unfortunately not.

Were you able to get it resolved.

I haven’t unfortunately. I don’t know what to try next. :woman_shrugging:t3:

I got it working yesterday.

I deleted the Plex config file following the instructions found at WD Community form. Follow the instructions on your own risk. I have a WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra with OS 5.
You will need to connect to the NAS using SSH

Once I deleted the config file I was able to rebuild the database by following the steps on the PLEX Media Server.
