Because that doesn’t make sense. se02? Is it season 2 or episode 2. Plex is confused. It must be SxxExx
it;s season 2, episode 2, how to write that?
s02e02
SxxExx
S means the season
xx = the season number
E means episode
xx = the episode number
So, for example…
s02e01 = episode 1 of season 2
s09e23 = episode 23 of season 9
s12e05 = episode 5 of season 12
etc…
I fixed that now! but, when I uploaded, the picture is blank and the cast it’s blank too! no pictures!
I doubt that’s your doing. Many of us are having the same issue.
tvdb is migrating to the new v3 db. We all will most likely need to wait til tvdb has finished their upgrades. Let’s wait a few hours(5 or 10) and see.
when the file is removed from the computer, and that means the plex too? because my computer don’t have enough space, so, how to stays there for ever?
when I upload the C:\Users\Administrator\Videos\TV Shows, them, when I was uploaded, a wrong shows is coming up? when I uploaded: C:\Users\Administrator\Videos\TV Shows/season 1, but, why?
Yes.
Buy more drive storage.
What?
Buy more drive storage, you can’t buy! you just joking, I go to google and search up!: https://www.google.com.au/search?q=buy+more+drive+storage&oq=Buy+more+drive+storage&aqs=chrome.0.0l6.2294j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
!
where to buy?
Are you means pc storage or google dive storage? I think this is pc storage!
Sorry, I can not help you there.
The same place we buy everything else:
Amazon

(I just ordered by annual supply of Marmite. Without Amazon there would be no Marmite here in WV - lol)
Buy more drive storage? what do you means?
He means, don’t delete your data, and buy more Hard Drives. If you don’t delete the shows/movies, they will never go away, but they will take up space on your hard drive, so the more you accumulate, eventually 1 of 2 things has to happen, you have to delete things that aren’t as important to make space for more important things, or you have to buy more hard drives to accommodate more storage space
it likes like a DVD burner, can you send me a picture what looks like?
It only looks like a DVD Burner because that’s showing you the internals. That is a metal platter on a spindle and a read/write head. CD/DVD/BluRay are what is called Optical storage. Hard Drive’s are Magnetic Storage, and SSD’s are Solid State Storage.
This is what one looks like without the internals exposed:

… and here what a good one looks like:

(lol - JK)
Note: I do have to report that out of 4 family members running in excess of 40 assorted Hard Drives in applications that keep them spun up 24/7 - we have blown far more Seagates than Western Digitals.
Offered only as anectodal info (I will NEVER buy another Seagate as long as I live - offered as absolute fact).

I will also note that it is my opinion a resolution to this happy little thread will only be realized when we find somebody that speaks the OP’s language, they live close enough to ride over there and consult for an operation the OP may be ill equipped to deal with.
Building, or Rebuilding a Plex Box from scratch is way more than most people want, or need to get into (and I’m not even sure we’ve gotten past the ‘What is Plex’ part of the tutorial).
IMO…
@auburnnew2144_outlook_com
That means just kidding! Don’t buy those crappy green drives.
That estimate of 40 was low. I’ve got 8 in the immediate vicinity and 6 of those are WD Greens (Have 2 Reds in 2 WD Externals). I did lose a WD 350G 15 yr Vintage a while back, but it was connected by that big flat ribbon cable and lived long enough for me to clone it to a new WD Green.
The real Family ‘Server Farm’ is maintained by the real Family IT Professional who just replaced 6 Seagates with WD Greens and reports: Never Again.
Sprinkle as much salt on that as you like…
lol
I find it fascinating people’s opinion on Seagate/WD.
I won’t buy WD… But why?
I guess my beef is that i’ve seen thousands die but my opinion might be bias because if the system shipped with Seagate then I may of seen the same failure rate. I’ll never know. WD seems to be the standard for low-mid range systems.
I’m not a Hitachi fan but find the drives to be rock solid. They can take a beating. I have dropped so many at 6 feet and they still work today. Like 10 years later.
Seagate/WD , please, 3 inch fall and their dead.
