Library scan not picking up media that it was finding in the past

My plex server was able to scan my seed box successfully and pick up all the media there. About a week ago I experienced accessing the plex server from the plex app so I did a reinstall to see if that would fix it. Afterwards my library scans now only pick up one or two series, and will ignore many other series that it was finding before.

I’ve included a few lines from the log file that seem to show some issues in looking up meta data but they’re not showing up every time I run a scan.

I can see on the alerts in the plex server settings that it’s scanning the folders, it’s just failing to find the media which it was able to do before.

This problem doesn’t seem to be happening for movies and is mainly TV series.

I’ve tried moving media files so their in a folder that only has the tv series name in it but that didn’t change anything. I’ve tried updating plex, reinstalling, restarting, deleting and recreating libraries, refreshing all meta data in a library but nothing has worked.

Anyone got suggestions on what to do try next or how to better diagnose the problem?

sorry, but out of context (in the absence of the logs with it), it does’t mean anything and can’t be diagnosed.

It looks like it wants a poster but don’t know why.

Unknown type : folder – harmless (new work being performed)

I’m after fixing the issue. I’ve specified a more direct path to where my media files are located on my seed box and now scans are picking up everything again. I can’t go into much more detail without revealing information on my seedbox and media files.
