Hi, a library scan was run automatically, and due to an issue on my server, it appears that the scan has hung.
So it is searching for TV, with no progress, just spinning. I’ve selected cancel scan, but it’s still spinning.
Any quick fixes to stop the scan please, and then re-run?
Be cautious. If it’s performing a library upgrade it can take a very long time. It won’t do any good to rudely interrupt it.
I recommend you to let it just sit until tomorrow.
Try also to simply reload the web app in your browser.
Thanks. It’s definitely not upgrading any libraries. It’s just carrying out a scan, which appears to have hung, as there is 0% progress, it’s just spinning.
And yes, I’ve refreshed my browser.
Verify that the storage volume which houses the Plex data folder is not completely full. (or the system’s general /tmp folder)
If there is plenty of free storage left, I’d still recommend to wait until tomorrow before doing anything. Like stopping and restarting the server.
