Server Version#: 1.28.0.5999
UnRAID running PMS within Docker

Hardware Transcode: 1080ti
NFS Storage 100TB
Seeing library scans take Hours/Days to complete and therefore slowing down the overall performance and administration of PMS. Are there any guides to optimize this process? Given Memory and CPU availability aren’t an issue I am comfortable in “Giving her all she’s got” to make things go a little smoother.
CONTAINER ID NAME CPU % MEM USAGE / LIMIT MEM % NET I/O BLOCK I/O PIDS

Media is just stored on a NAS with NFS accessible to Plex as a Mapped volume.
Broken down into Movies / TV / TV-British / TV-Cooking etc.
Not the first time Indexing however if I make any changes to the Library I cannot make any other changes as they refuse to save for hours or a day. Little things like changing the Library Name or removing a folder.
Is the Plex DB on the unraid, or is that on its own drive/ssd?
have you tried optimizing the database?
Are all your movies in 1 folder or 1 folder per movie?
Given the stats you posted scan times should be in minutes. maybe 30 max. Do you know if you have a failing disk? traditional HDD’s have these types of performance issues as they start to fail.
