I have the following problem, after I bought a limited-time offer for lifetime plex pass and created a new user
I cannot see my plex server to start adding my media wherever i run plex media server.
I tried from my Synology NAS, from my iMac, nothing…
cannot see my server but I can only see servers my friends share with me.
I believe its problem of my account and life pass plex
If I login with another plex account everything is fine…
I even deleted my free plex account to see if its a conflict problem… nothing
I cant thing something else to try, so i asked you…
it’s not a problem of version (latest) or network (checked)
I tried to have a plex pass, and now nothing works…>
Sounds like you have 2 Plex accounts and your Server is already signed into one of them, the non-Plex Pass one it sounds like. Since your server is signed into this account, you cannot access it when logging into your new account. Clients and servers are a 1:1 relationship. They need to be using the same account on both. The only except is when you share your server, then other accounts can see it. So
1 - use your old account first
2 - unclaim the server
3 - sign into new account
4 - claim server under this account
You say you deleted your old account. Well, then you can’t do 1 and 2 above since your account no longer exists. You’ll need to unclaim the server manually. Follow the guide, https://support.plex.tv/articles/204281528-why-am-i-locked-out-of-server-settings-and-how-do-i-get-in/. Then continue with step 3.
