Lip Sync Apple TV

I am experiencing dreadful lip sync problems with plex, particularly films with 5.1 audio.

My Setup:

Apple TV 4k, Plex app.
Apple MAC Mini running the plex media server
Denon AVR-X3300 Reciever
Samsung Q90R TV

All firmwares are the latest versions. All software updates are on point.

I have tried different streaming servers and this doesn’t make a difference.

I bought a copy of INFUSE player and it works perfectly.

I have read the forums extensivly and no one seems to have a solution to this.

Anyone out there wanna be a good person and help a brother in need ?

I had issues with 1080 HEVC encoded MKV files (I think I got that jargon correct).

I turned off lip sync on my Denon Reciever. Turned off Match Frame Rate on aTV. You can also try turning off Direct Play and/or use old player in Plex. There’s still a dropped frame issue, but it feels like there’s no more lip sync issue.
