Not sure why this is not present already, but please allow different display options (Detail, List) for items in collections. The virtually useless character number allowed for the grid view make finding the intended item laborious.
Is this about a specific app?
It appears you can already change the display mode in Plexamp.
Sorry I forgot to add that in the OP. I am using the Desktop Plex App on OS X, but it happens in the web app, as well. Also, I am referring to all types of libraries, my particular problem is with a movie library. Once you go to a collection page, the only display option is âGridâ. The screenshot below is from the web app.

Iâd like that feature on LG Tv client. On windows Plex web I can have small thumbs to see lots of films. On my tv I can get 6 across and about 3 down. Not great on a 77â tv and 190 movies
I agree, this is annoying. We should have details and list view options. But can we also add in the option to view items as horizontal icons as well rather than as just vertical movie poster icons when in grid view?
Yes, I started a thread that included this point yesterday & have been directed here. (I did look first, honest!)
So, yes, completely limiting. I detest grid view. Itâs the main reason I gave up on Roon & came here. (Well, that & the fact that Plexamp works & Roonâs ARC doesnât.)
Anyway, you get my vote!
