It would be nice if, instead of listing only the next showing of a movie, it listed all the movie’s future showings on the movie’s individual page, similar to how it lists TV show episodes. (It probably wouldn’t be hard to recycle some code from the TV show episode listings to do this. Just me assuming though.) If a movie showing was at the same time as other recordings and you wouldn’t be able to record all of them (e.g. 3 movies you want to record, all airing at the same time, but you can only record 2 things at once). Plex could then suggest a different showing at another time, and also give you a list of airings so you can choose one that works for you.
Also, please allow me to record a future showing of a movie, instead of only allowing me to record the one that is in progress (and therefore incomplete).
Today I came into a movie late, and knew it would be played again, but I had no option to record the future showing. I even scanned forward in the guide to the next showing and marked it for recording, and much to my surprise Plex still decided to record the one in progress.
The only workaround at this point is to wait for the current showing to be over, then search and record - if i haven’t forgotten that I wanted to do it, that is.
