I found a little tip in a video yesterday that worked really well…
Note that I’ve upgraded my NAS RAM to 6GB, so I’m not sure how well this tip will work with 2GB only.

Transcode to RAM using /tmp folder and prefer high speed decoding.
With these two settings, performance is so much better, try and let me know how went.
You will see RAM usage increasing, but it won’t get to swap memory, it will reach a limit and then clean and reuse the RAM.
