I am running PMS on windows 11 with and xTeVe in a windows docker container running on wsl.
Relevant Plex settings:
Transcoding: Transcoder quality: make my cpu hurt; transcoder default throttle buffer: 120; background transcoding x264 preset: ultra fast; Enable HDR tone mapping: enabled; Use hardware acceleration when available: enabled; Use hardware accelerated video encoding: enabled; Hardware transcoding device: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090; Maximum simultaneous video transcode: Unlimited
Live TV & DVR: Channel Sources: My Guide; Tuner Status: 5 Green Dots; Channels: (670) 668 enabled; IP Address: localhost:34400; Model: xTeVe; Convert Video while Recording: Transcoding
DVR Settings: Resolution: Prefer HD; Allow Partial Airing: enabled; MINUTES BEFORE START: 0 MINUTES AFTER END: 0; Enhanced Guide: Disabled; DETECT COMMERCIALS: Disabled; Perform refresh of program guide data: enabled
PC has 32gb of ram, temp file location in a drive with over 200gb of space left, a 3090 gpu used.
The issue: I am attempting to play a live tv show (can be any) from my tuner on my android device (issue also on web player), and this plays for a short amount of time (5-15 minutes) and then hits a points where it buffers then repeats the last 10-15 seconds and then crashes with error “Error: An error occurred while attempting to play this video. Please check your connection and try again”.
Not sure what’s going wrong here.
