Live OTA channels from spectrum cable?

If the cable coming to my house is from Spectrum and I have no spectrum TV service will any OTA channels come thru?
I can’t use a regular TV antenna where I am, 100s of miles from any broadcast antennas!
Thanks.

Doubtful. Hook it up and try it.

Sorry, To be more specific I should have asked if attaching it to a ClearStream TV Tuner may work.
I assume the answer is:
“If I can get any channels at at all with the cable wire directly connected to the TV, then yes.”
Thanks.

If you only have cable internet and not cable tv, they most likely put some kind of inline filter, either at the box outside your house, or in a nearby neighborhood cable junction.

If for whatever reason they did not filter your connection, then it is possible you may get some un-encrypted channels that may be tunable with a tv tuner.

but as already mentioned, its doubtful, and the only way is to try it and see what you get. no one here is gonna be able to tell you what result you will get.

that said, if you do get some usable channels, and there is plex guide data that matches those channels and the tuner is supported by plex, then live/dvr ought to work as expected.

No it will not work. I my area-NE Ohio-Spectrum cut off clear QAM(AKA locals) in December of 2017. When that happened I switched to an OTA antenna. If you want to pay them for locals you will need a HDHomerun prime six or similar device with a card provided by Spectrum-you gotta pay for locals now.
