Not sure as to why I cannot stream my own Live TV to my Chromecast. It says Live TV is not available on a remote display. Can this be fixed?
Also, my internet connection is perfectly good and I get constant lag (pauses) every minute or so on the Android app or the web app. Any way to fix this?
Streaming to Chromcast devices is not currently supported.
No ETA on if/when it will be.
Can someone at least tell us if Live TV on Chromecast is even on the roadmap? I’m trying to understand why this isn’t a thing yet. Cord cutters use Chromecast en masse and this feature would be the final feather in the cap for Plex. I’ve got 6 TV all on Chromecast and an HDHomerun waiting to be used by them.
We know Plex can already transcode OTA MPEG2 into a Chromecast compatible format, so what’s the big hold up?
