Trying out the new Live TV functions on Android version of Plex, and trying to take a live show accessible through Plex to my tv via Chromecast and it says it’s not allowed, why and is this something that will be fixed to allow this in the near future?
I can add that you cannot Chromecast Live TV from iOS either, while you can cast nearly any other kind of content, including recordings. Is there a technical limitation?
Chromecast is a different platform than Android amd iOS.
They did not announce it was supported, probably because the Chromecast “app” wasn’t ready yet.
