I’m sorry to tell you that the new app on iOS (at least) is a nightmare regarding Live TV with my tuner.
Before, I could browse the Channel from Time to time by simple swipping from left to right.
Now, the guide is fixed and I’m forced to use the little arrow button to jump to the next timeframe.
Not very user friendly.
Other bad UX design : if I click a program, just to see its details and maybe choose to set a recording, it opens the video player.
I don’t want this to be the default behavior. Put instead two buttons in the details modal window (“watch now” or “record”).
And the button to mute the player doesn’t work as expected.
Last examples : with the old app, even if a program is already started, I could trigger a recording (this is my right to choose to record even if I will miss the beginning).
Now it’s impossible.
So if I watch a movie, then fall asleep in the middle, YOU (Plex Team) have decided that I don’t have the right to record the end and watch it tomorrow.
I’m a long time supporter, and a Plex Pass Lifetime owner, but I think about going to jellyfin and don’t recommend your solution today.
Please, tell me that this feedback (and the thousands of other that disagree with your choice) have been received and that you will fix it and get our loved features back.
