Live TV audio glitching issue on CCwGTV

I am using a Chromecast with Google TV to watch live TV.
Recently (for the last three weeks at least) there is an issue with audio stuttering. This seems to happen regardless of channel.

If I change the audio stream, then change it back again, the problem is resolved until the next time I turn off the CCwGTV and watch live TV again.
If I turn off audio passthrough in the Player settings, I get no sound at all.
This problem only occurs on my CCwGTV.
