Live TV being downsampled

I am proxying around 30 channels through Dispatcharr. Dispatcharr is set to “proxy” mode, so it’s not modifying the stream in any way.

However, on my Apple TV, CNN 4K appears as 720p and BBC 4K appears as 1080p.

Server dashboard shows “Direct Play”, so I don’t understand how the stream goes from 4K to 720/1080p without any transcoding

if I play the stream to UHF, it shows 2160p correctly.

I see the server that you’re using. I can’t get Plex to play anything from dispatcharr beyond 1.30.0. I see you are using 1.4x.x. How do you have it set up?

Also, I don’t know much about UHF, but I would be very surprised if an IPTV source was actually pushing 2160.
