Live TV, Comcast with HDHR Prime, channels incorrect, unable to tune

As of the last two days, my Live TV setup has a number of incorrectly listed channels. When selecting them, it displays “could not tune channel no parts”

I removed and added the tuner back in a couple of times, updated the HDHR and rescanned on itself. All the channels work fine in the HDHR app.

Running the channel scan in plex shows the channels on the correct numbers…

But on the guide on several different clients, they show as completely different channel numbers..

Does seem like it is only effecting the non-hd channels, but I haven’t tested them all.

Have rebuilt the guide several times, still no luck. Should I back up a couple of versions?

I am having the same exact issue and have been troubleshooting and doing the same thing as you. Noticed there was a server update 2 or 3 days ago and have noticed it ever since. Frustrating, as this is not how I want to spend my weekend!

I found the solution!! Roll back to last server version (1.18.7.2438). Must be a bug in this release. I was able to get all my channels lined back up and working again!!

Yeah definitely a server bug introduced after 2438.

I did some experimenting and found that it seems to effect channels that comcast has mapped on 2 channel numbers. (lower numbers for older equipment I assume, and 1000+ numbers mixed in with the HD channels). I can use the lower number mapped channel, but these channels show up windowboxed with no way to change,

Yeah, I’m in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Comcast market and sure enough, we have 3 multiple lineups I think (200’s,800’s, and 1,000’s). It wasn’t finding my 1000 channels and my lower HD duplicate channels were not tuning. Like I said, I just dropped back one server version and all is working well! I hope it gets resolved, though.

I deleted everything trying to fix the issue. The oldest version I have is 1.18.7.2457. I uninstalled the current version and installed the 2457 version - the guide issues were gone until Plex automatically updated to the current version. This morning I uninstalled Plex and installed the 2457 version again & set Plex to ask before updating. How will we know when Plex has fixed the guide issue for new versions?

+1 I am seeing this also, had to downgrade to get the tuner working also.

Spent far too long today after I noticed one of my channels showing up out of order – even deleted and re-added the tuner. Wish I would have come across this post first!

This has fixed the issue for me:

I did have to disable the problem channel in the Plex channel lineup, let the guide refresh and then re-enable the channel. After the guide refresh that follows, everything was resolved.
