LIve TV Crashes

I’ve got a plex server running version 1.13.5.5291. Everything works great EXCEPT when I watch live TV on a HTPC running the latest plex media player, after about an hour I get a transcoder error, and playback stops. This doesn’t happen with ANY streaming, transcoding or any other viewing and DVR functions works perfectly, it’s ONLY for LIVE TV on that machine. I installed another PMS on my HTPC and used it for live tv and that worked perfectly for hours on end. Both are set to use the same hdhomerun network tuner.

I’ve tried to look in the logs but can’t see anything that jumps out at me, what could be the issue? The server is on windows 7x64 with a corei7 and nvidia quandro p2000.

Thanks for any help in advance… I need this to be fixed before football season starts for real!

It seems I’ve solved my own issue. Posting here in case it helps anyone else. There was a LOT of discussion on the forums about crashes with Win10 and some updates. Even though I’m on windows 7x64 I decided to search for windows updates and install them all. I had to manually search for updates twice, and it kept finding more. I installed them all, and Bam! system is working perfectly now. Let live TV play for 12 hours straight… and it worked without a hitch.

So if you’ve got window 7x64 and you’re experiencing transcoder crashes, might want to make sure you’ve got all windows updates installed.
