Live TV Deinterlacing By Device/Client

Hi,

I’m hoping that people with clients like the nVidia Shield, Amazon Fire TV (those from now and the new soon to be released 2017 model), etc, are willing to help use this post as a way to keep a consolidated, up to date list of which devices and clients are able to deinterlacing live TV. So, if you use Live TV, please let us know!

Devices don’t decomb.
Filters during encodes do.

For LiveTV:
On the Shield it is HW decoding and should be Direct Playing thus Nvidia is applying BOB deinterlacing.
On the AppleTV and iOS devices it needs to be transcoded so yadif send_frame software deinterlacing is used by PMS.
