Zero-copy hardware transcoding - implemented on Shield?

Hello, does anyone know if the recent additions below apply to PMS running on Nvidia Shield?

  • (Transcoder) Update to current upstream ffmpeg
  • (Transcoder) Support for hardware transcoding on Linux with Intel 9th-gen processors
  • (Transcoder) Support for VC-1 hardware decoding on supported platforms
  • (Transcoder) Support for hardware decoding on Linux with Nvidia GPUs
  • (Transcoder) Support for zero-copy hardware transcoding on Linux with Nvidia GPUs
  • (Transcoder) Support for zero-copy hardware transcoding of interlaced media

In particular one of my biggest issues is the lack of deinterlacing of live TV. Almost all playback devices do not do this and as far as I can tell, PMS does not do this even though I’m sure it is technically possible. I would dearly love to be able to have an option to make PMS deinterlace live TV content.

Thoughts please.
