Live TV Disk IO

Server Version#: 1.18.0.1944
Player Version#: 4.8.4

Hello,

When watching live TV I noticed my C drive disk IO is quite busy, as opposed to just watching a regular movie. Is it possible to move that chatter to a different disk since my C drive is a SSD and I want to keep the mileage low? If this is not possible, if I install Plex server on my D drive, will this keep the IO off C? Note,
none of my library folders point to C.

Thanks

if I recall correctly, live tv uses the specified transcoder folder.

check @ Plex Web > settings > transcoder > transcoder temp dir

dvr recordings will use a hidden .grab directory within the library chosen for that recording.

Awesome, thanks. I pointed it to D and the traffic is now going there. Much appreciated!
