I loaded the new experience on two different Apple TV’s. Putting aside the horrible UX, it works on one, but not the other. My Apple TV HD worked and I can see the tuners, along with your Plex channels. But on my Apple TV 4K, I go in and I can’t do anything. I can’t click anywhere, the guide doesn’t load, it’s just … well, useless.
Aside from this, a few additional comments:
- you show a video preview, but no audio
- Separating the tuners and not a single list is a HUGE step backwards
- the menuing on the left side seems clunky and needs to be reimagined
- ideally, I want different “Favorites” for different things. i.e., Sports Favorites, Local Favorites, etc. You can limit this, but we need more than one Favorites.
Unfortunately, I can’t test much more as it is not usable. I look forward to trying, but this is a step in the wrong direction, IMHO.
