Since this ATV guide bug started, the skip-forward feature of streaming LIVE TV that is also recording has been working flawlessly.
Plex team: PLEASE consider this point when investigating that issue (if unaware), for I fear the return of the guide brings the return of a faulty skip forward.
Theyāre completely unrelated, this was just a date display issue

As soon as the new year started, the epg lost all its information on my apple devices, though browsing into the server itās all there. Language is set to U.K., and nothing I can do seems to get the data shown. I saw that others had this bug and that a new release would fix it. Maybe the fix busted it for U.K. users?
Changing the region to United States gets the guide data back.

The skip-forward bug is back the same moment the guide info returned on the Apple TV Plex app. If not related, it is a very tight coincidence that aligned the two issues down to the day the content disappeared and reappeared.
This has just started today the 1 Jan for us no guide data on all the apple devices but ok on the server already have the region set to uk as in the uk.
@sandsfoy - Until the updated app is released, you will need to change your region to get the guide working. If you set your region to United States and restart the Plex app your guide should come back up.
For U.K. locale; On further research what seems to be happening is that metadata for the current day isnāt shown, while any guide data for the next day where the programme is on at 00:00 onward is shown; so the app seems to be filtering out all the guide data for the current day.

Noticed (Jan 3) that the TVOS app is now displaying the new guide and appears to be working properly; the AppleTV app is reporting version 7.26 (1744).
IOS and TVOS working for me as of yesterday, Jan 2nd.
Has anyone had problems with the live tv in tvOS recently? After selecting a channel, and watching for a few minutes it will revert back to the guide while still playing the audio for the channel. Seems to only happen on tvOS devices and seems to be random as well. Anyone else having this issue?
I suggest starting a new topic on this, but I absolutely see this a lot. It is like the timeout for checking for signal has either a glitch or is too small and it pushes us back to the listings. I suspect this is also why some of my cablecard shows being recorded, get cut off.
But again, I suggest a dedicated thread to this.
I agree with @Beachside that this needs a new/different thread @TommyGunzzzz - however, I can confirm I have been seeing this issue lately on AppleTVās plex app as recently as last night while watching my IPTV streams
