Ahem,
I run FreeNAS and have Live TV / DVR enabled on 2 servers: 11.1u6 and 11.2
I can go to each and enable the Live TV / DVR feature, it finds SiliconDust and gets 44 channels.
On the old 11.1u6 when I connect to that from my Sony TV with Plex built in: I get to Live TV on the Discover bar if I scroll to the right a little. Works great…I get the guide, and I’m off and running.
On the new 11.2 server, it’s fining Silicon Dust in the settings but on the Sony TV the Discover bar has Tidal, PodCasts, News and then doesn’t show Live Tv.
I’m guessing it’s the forced showing of Tidal, PodCasts, and News (none of which I’m interested in) that’s blocking TV from showing, e.g., there’s a max # of discover items.
So anyone know how to get rid of any or all of Tidal, PodCasts, and News from Discover bar?
