What do you mean by add channels?
When you first add the Live TV & DVR it finds the tuner, and the tuner has channels associated with it (provided you used the tuners software to do a channel scan). And then during the walkthrough you end up choosing the guide information.
If you have had more channels added since this initial setup, you will need to re-scan your channels, and then re-do the Programming Guide as far as I know.
