Looks like it currently does not allow managed user to view live TV. Are there any plans for this to be enabled? I want to share access to others in the household but still retain ability to control the libraries that are visible to them.
This is one of the limitations in the beta version of Live TV.
It will change at some point in the future.

If you have a silicondust tuner you can add the HDHRviewer channel and then give “channels” access to the user.
works flawlessly.
This approach does not use the beta server version, so it looks completely different.
