Live TV guide is missing station ID’s

I have a question about adding over the air station ID’s into my Live tv guide. When I scan my live broadcast, I see that I have 21 channels available, but only 10 have guide information for them. Id there a way to enter the other ID manually? In the image below, it shows 4 stations with no information available for the “Guide Channels” and this is preventing me from turning enabling the channel. For example, station 4.1 WRC-HD is an NBC channel but I do not have any universal NBC option in my dropdowns.

Is there any way to correct this or manually add guides to channels?

The drop down menus don’t have the correct information to select from.

Also, does anyone have an example of the xmltv_file.xml to use for a manual guide install? I have the list of stations with all the information needed.

Looks like few stations are missing in gracenote database for your zip code. Try different zip code from your OTA market. If you receive channels from another OTA market, try some zip code between the 2 towers.

Also, you can report guide issues here:

I was in the same situation as you. I found a zip (postal code for me) that populated all my channels and I reported the issue. I tooks several weeks, but my code is fixed now.

Edit: I did not give you the proper link to the epg report issue form. Here is the good link:

Sorry about that.

For xmltv, you can look at zap2xml. this program can connect to tvguide.com and generate a xmltv file. However, it’s easier to just use Plex gracenote integration if you can.

@rouq That worked for me, i played around with other Zip codes and found one that worked

Thank you for the help.

I am also experiencing this issue, although in my case it is because a local channel (5) added a new subdigital channel (5.4) on January 29, 2018, for the Quest Network.

Playing with other Zip codes will not help me.

I have two states feeding our area, I ended up setup up two servers, showing one in SLC, Ut and one in Phoenix Arizona, and then have both dump into the same NAS drive. Only way I could make it work. Gracenote should have a better way of letter you update their records, at least make suggestion. I did fill out their request form.
