I have my DVR setup with a HDHomeRun tuner and I’ve been recording TV shows with no problem. But when I read about LIVE TV I try to look it up and find where I can watch Live TV when I’m at home. PMS is in it’s latest version, as well as the AppleTV and Android apps. So, the question is HOW I can watch Live TV on my devices? I don’t see any extra configuration or setting on the DVR setting in the PMS.
You don’t have to setup anything on PMS. Make sure you have pms 1.8 and android mobile client 6.3.x.
On Android client, click on the menu button (the 3 horizontal lines button). Click on “program data”. Click on “now” select a show, you should have an option to watch it.
Maybe the problem is the PMS version. Mine says it’s up to date?
Aha! I went to the download page and I see it… Why is not showing it in my PMS?

Woohoooo!!! I downloaded ver 1.8, run it, and voilá!!! I see the Live TV option on my cell as well as on my Apple TV. I hope the programing guide is in the wire… THANKS!

Nope… no program guide in the works… Thank Rovi vs Netflix… perhaps after the courts finish deciding, until then I believe it is too risky to bet on one horse or the other.
