Live TV is broken with latest update

The most recent updates have caused live tv not to record or tune in channels. Channels can be tuned in the with HD Homerun app but not with Plex. Using Version 1.41.7.9717 on a mac mini.

Ok, do you mean on Apple Tv?

I see no issue on my Mac Mini with 1.41.7.9717

What version of ATV plex app do you have installed?

Recording from ATV with 2025.13.0 is still a hot mess

Apple tv, iOS. It does not record live tv, I get an error. It is a server software issue. This does not happen if I downgrade to Version 1.41.5.9522.

I’ve got the same issue. Love stab used to work fine, now I get “Could not tune channel. Please check your tuner or antenna..”

I’m using a Hauppage WinTV USB stick, the native WinTV app is still working flawlessly.

Hoping for some tips to solve this!

Sad, I noticed it too. Also, Plex Home doesn’t respect if you turn off live tv for a user, they can still access.

I had a similar issue on a Synology NAS, running the Plex app on AppleTV version 8.45 (9684), won’t display or record any channels even though they work on my AppleTV’s HDHomeRun app. Downgrading the server software to 1.41.7.9784 resolved the issue for me but the versioning seems to be a hot mess. Versions offered from my PLEX Server differ from those listed on the PLEX website. The beta version for the server listed on the website as of today and dated today (May 18 2025) won’t even install, saying “This package requires DSM 7.2-70000 or older.” My current Synology DSM version is 7.2.2-72806 Update 3 (newer) so I was lucky to still have the earlier version of PLEX Server to downgrade to (by uninstalling newest version then installing 1.41.7.9784. It’s crazy that PlexMedia Server version 1.41.7.9799 requires an older version of Synology DSM than 9784.

I have the similar setup, Mac mini server version 1.41.6.9685 with hd home run flex quatro, live tV works fine though the HDHomeRun app and Plex web app but using latest iPhone, iPad and Apple TV apps live TV will not work , get error (CoreMediaErrorDomain error 1718449215), hopefully this will get fixed soon
