Live TV playback on a PS4 or to a remote player

Hi there,

Is there plans to have the functionality of remote play of Live TV (Chromecast), or Live TV in the PS4 app?

The main reason I invested in a TV tuner and Plex, and I can’t even use it :frowning:

Might need to clarify after re-reading that… what I meant is, is it in the pipeline for the following two features to be added?

  • Live TV remote play to Chromecast
  • Live TV playback in PS4 app

One would think that app parity is something that they plan on. So it stands to reason that they would want to bring Live TV to the PS4 version of Plex.

What tuner do you have?

While the Plex app doesn’t support Live TV on the PS4, I can get Live TV playing by using the “Media Player” app from the PS store using my HDHomeRun Prime.
